Bolão is a free football-prediction service operated by Ricardo Dias, an individual based in Portugal. By creating an account or joining a tournament, you agree to these terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use the service. The service is intended for personal, non-commercial use among friends.

• Keep your password or Google account secure. You are responsible for all activity on your account.
• Do not impersonate others. Display names must be respectful.
• One person, one account.

• Anyone can create a tournament and share its invite link with friends.
• Tournament owners may remove members, change settings, and close the tournament when it ends.
• Match results are sourced from public providers and used to score your predictions. We aim to ingest them promptly but cannot guarantee real-time updates.
• Pre-tournament picks (finalists, champion, top scorer) lock at the first match kickoff and cannot be changed afterwards.

You may not:

• Use the service to harass, threaten, or harm others.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or overload the service.
• Submit unlawful content or content you do not have rights to.
• Create multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards.
• Attempt to access other users' data or interfere with the operation of the service.

We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules, without prior notice in serious cases.

To report a participant whose display name or behaviour you believe breaches these rules, use the flag icon next to their row on the leaderboard, or email ricardofnd.dev@gmail.com. We review every report and may rename, kick, or close the account at our discretion.

The Bolão code, design, and branding are owned by Ricardo Dias. You retain ownership of your display name and predictions; by submitting them you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to display them within the service to other tournament members.

Bolão is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, UEFA, or any other football organisation. Team and competition names are used solely to identify the real-world matches you are predicting.

Bolão is free. There are no fees, prizes, wagers, or other forms of consideration. The service must not be used in any context that would constitute gambling.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available”. Downtime, scoring delays, and errors may occur. We aim to address issues promptly but make no warranty of uninterrupted or error-free operation.

Because the service is provided free of charge, our aggregate liability for any claim arising from or relating to the service is limited to €0. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be excluded under applicable law, including consumer-protection rights.

You may delete your account at any time from in-app settings. We may suspend or close your account if you breach these terms, or discontinue the service entirely.

When these terms are updated, the effective date above changes. Material changes will be surfaced in the app before they take effect.

These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Disputes will be resolved by the competent Portuguese courts, without prejudice to your right as a consumer to bring proceedings before the courts of your place of residence.
